Dearest exhausted, I just want to start this by saying "thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou". The bottom line is Tracy saved us. Plain and simple. My wife Debra and I were hanging on by a very, very thin thread. We're talking microscopic. Our son Sean was colicky for the first 2½ months of his life. He cried non-stop. Then, when the colic started to subside, that's when the sleeping problems began. He was literally up every 90 minutes through the night. And because we picked him up all the time to soothe when he was colicky, Sean had come to expect that every time he'd get up in the night. He couldn't put himself back to sleep and would cry until we came to him. They say the oldest form of torture is sleep deprivation, and now my wife and I know why.

Long story short, when we heard about Tracy and the service she provides we jumped at it. Because Sean had so much trouble sleeping we were sure this was the one case Tracy couldn't crack. 2 days later, Sean was sleeping a 7 hour stretch through the night. It was unbelievable. She taught Sean how to self soothe and put himself back to sleep and she was there every step of the way supporting him. There was no "crying it out". She taught Sean how to fall asleep on his own so we didn't have to spend a hours rocking him. Now we just put him in his crib awake and say goodnight and he puts himself to sleep within minutes. It honestly felt like a magic trick because it was so unreal how quick the change was.

Now, 3 months later Sean is a happy, healthy, vibrant 7 month old baby. Full of smiles and energy and love. The sleep he now gets at night is helping him develop at an amazing pace and we owe it all to Tracy. If you are reading this at home and are questioning whether or not you should call The Sleep Doula, stop thinking and call. It will change your life.

And now I'll end this letter by repeating the two words that constantly come to mind when Debra and I think of Tracy: thank you.

Tired, worn, wiped, frustrated, weepy mom,

I sooooooo know what you need. you need rest. You need a helping hand, guidance and a professional to set the rules for how to get a well rested family.

Our experience with Tracy, our god-sent Sleep Doula was soooooo worth it. We have got our life back, we have a united, loving, well rested, and well adjusted family. We are utterly grateful to say the very least. It's been the best gift we gave to ourselves and to our daughter...the gift of sleep!

I had the best ever healthy pregnancy. I had the dream home water birth and was blessed with a beautiful sweet girl named Eiliyah.

Then the craziness began. I didn't even see it coming!

The lack of sleep, feeding every 3 hours, the physical and emotional challenges of breastfeeding, the family dynamics, there was so much going on and so much stress that I couldn't even enjoy the little gift that i was holding. I was fighting with my husband, we were constantly questioning what was the best way to raise our baby. I read almost every famous baby and sleep book....then finally one seminar i went to Tracey was the speaker and she just was sooo informative, professional yet warm and fuzzy. We learned so much that we became her client. Eiliyah and I went from no more than a 3 hour stretch of of sleep for 5 months, to now sleeping from 8 pm to 9 am with 2 ten minute dream feeds. That's basically 12-13 hours every night she sleeps and my husband and i have our time and sleep time! She still naps in the day and I have a "plan", a "schedule" so I can run our household more efficiently, so I can sleep and be sane, so I can continue to breastfeed, so I can get out and about and do more of my normal life things with my baby and enjoy it so thoroughly.

To me and my husband, sleep is #1 important for our healthy relationship, to be productive at work, and to be loving and giving to ourselves and to each other. Thanks to Tracey, it is possible. Thanks to Tracey I'm not giving up on having any more kids. I am not giving up my profession. I am not doubting myself as a mother. I know how important sleep is for Eiliyah's development and she is soooo happy and content on this routine. Everyone comments on how alert, curious, smart and happy she is. She is well rested. My husband and I are firm about 2 things, her regular sleep and her feedings. Everything else falls into the right spot as long as those links are there. With Tracy 's expertise we learnt how to set boundaries for ourselves and Eliyah and it has given us a springboard start on parenting a way we can both agree on. We are sooooo very grateful and god bless you and your sleep doula team.

My wife and I first met Tracey at a seminar and we spoke about her sleep doula service. I was very apprehensive at first but watching my wife go through many sleepless nights, I caved in - and we hired Tracey. We first did a consult with her - she listened to both of our ideology of putting our little girl to sleep and helped us come to a common ground. She helped us come up with a sleep routine that would benefit our family lifestyle. Tracey explained the different methods of putting our baby to sleep and did what we were comfortable with - it was not easy to our little one cry, but we re-assured that we were not bad parents if we did let her cry in the end, it would benefit her and our selves. Today our family, sleep's through the night, my wife and are not tired and able to focus on being terrific loving parents. Our little one is calmer and able to soother herself no matter where we are. She even stopped crying in her car seat.

Tracey has been a god sent - Thank you my dear.

I am a firm believer in kids developing good sleeping habits and was really struggling with my son when he was 5 months old. He was feeding on demand throughout the night and I was exhausted. I hired Tracey to help and was impressed with her ability to help him self sooth while maintaining a very kind and compassionate demeanor. Tracy installed calm into our house and made us extremely comfortable in the process. I would refer Tracey to all my friends and family with great confidence.

Thank you Tracey,

I called you when I felt like I was trapped at the bottom of a well. My son wouldn't sleep for longer than half an hour, I spent all day & night feeding him, and he cried for hours at a time. I spent half an hour on the phone with you, and just from that short conversation, I'd learned enough to help him go to sleep, stay asleep, and I got a lot of advice on coping with being a first time mother. I felt so much relief after talking to you on the phone, and when you came to my apartment to help, I felt like I relaxed for the first time since he was born. Thank you for your confidence and your skills and your encouragement!

Sincerely

"Before engaging Tracy and team, our daughter was waking up every two hours throughout the night and naps were a thing of dreams. Needless to say, my wife and I were turning into zombies from lack of sleep. Tracy walked us through their process, assessed our needs and wants and developed a good plan of action. After four nights of help, our daughter is now sleeping through the night, eating better, napping much better and is definitely a happier child."
